Feeling of powerlessness
Painful events sometimes remain marked in us, to such a point that we identify ourselves through it.
We keep the feeling of powerlessness. The pain of this causes diverse failures. Physiologically, a process of withdrawal starts. A tendency to react systematically in the same way is set up.
Gradually, we lose the meaning of our acts and our life consists of habits more and more.
Moreover, our mental state dissociate itself from our feelings. Not longer being connected to ourselves, we develop an outside look on our real-life experience and we fall into self-criticism or pride.
